Sapphire FUE
Sapphire Transplantation
A gentle hair transplant method using sapphire blades. Suitable for larger areas and higher graft counts.
What is the Sapphire FUE Method?
Sapphire FUE is a modern hair transplant method in which micro-channels are created using a sapphire blade, into which grafts are then implanted. This technique allows precise planning of hair direction and distribution and is suitable even for larger procedures.
Sapphire blade
A specialized pen made of synthetic sapphire is used to create precise micro-channels in the transplant area. It allows controlled depth and direction of the incision with minimal impact on surrounding tissue.
Channel creation
The doctor first creates micro-channels with the sapphire pen in the areas where grafts will subsequently be implanted. The channels determine the future direction, density, and natural distribution of hair.
Suitable for larger areas
Pre-created channels enable systematic and efficient work with a higher number of grafts, covering larger areas.

How does Sapphire FUE work?
The Sapphire FUE transplant process takes place in several steps that ensure maximum precision and natural results.
5 steps of the Sapphire FUE Method
Graft extraction
Hair follicular units are extracted from the donor area (most commonly the back of the head) using micro-surgical instruments. Each graft contains 1 to 4 hairs.
Graft sorting
Extracted grafts are carefully sorted by hair count to achieve the most natural result possible. Single-hair grafts are primarily used to create the front hairline, while multi-hair grafts are implanted into other areas to achieve optimal density.
Creating micro-channels
The doctor uses the sapphire blade to create micro-channels in the transplant area. These determine the future depth, angle, and direction of hair growth. They allow precise planning of density and overall graft distribution.
Graft implantation
Sorted grafts are then carefully placed into the pre-created micro-channels. Thanks to this systematic preparation, it is possible to efficiently work with a higher number of grafts and ensure even, natural coverage of the transplanted area.
Healing and growth
The healing phase follows the procedure. During the first weeks, transplanted hair may naturally shed (known as shock loss). New hair begins to grow after 3-4 months, and full results are visible after 12-18 months.

Why choose Sapphire FUE?
Ideal for larger areas and working with higher graft counts
Natural hair distribution
The direction and depth of micro-channels determine future hair growth, enabling a natural appearance even with larger procedures.
Precise channel creation
The sapphire blade enables creation of each channel with high precision following the natural hair growth direction.
Larger scope
The Sapphire FUE method is ideal for more advanced hair loss and larger transplant areas.
Higher graft count
Thanks to pre-created micro-channels, implantation can be systematically planned to achieve high hair density using a higher number of grafts.
Hairline reconstruction
The method is also suitable for designing a completely new natural hairline, especially for complete front area reconstruction.
Minimal scarring
Thanks to micro-surgical instruments, only tiny micro-dots remain in the donor area, which are virtually invisible after healing.
